Product Use and Intended Purpose
PiggyPower products are specialized thermoelectric power systems intended for educational, experimental, and off-grid energy applications. They are not certified consumer appliances, are not grid-tied devices, and are not intended for life-support, medical, safety-critical, or mission-critical uses. Proper installation, operation, monitoring, and adherence to provided instructions are required for safe and reliable use.
User Responsibility and Safe Operation
PiggyPower systems involve heat, electricity, and mechanical components. Users are responsible for ensuring appropriate heat sources, cooling, electrical connections, and operating conditions, including adherence to recommended temperature limits and safety guidelines. Operation outside recommended limits may reduce performance, shorten service life, or cause damage.
Orders, Production, and Shipping
All PiggyPower products are built to order. Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided at checkout for reference but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to sourcing, fabrication, testing, or workload. Once an order has entered production, it cannot be canceled.
If a product arrives damaged during shipping, customers must notify PiggyPower within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of the damage and original packaging so the issue can be evaluated.
Rebuild and Repair Support
PiggyPower systems are designed to be durable and serviceable. If a product is damaged, degrades, or stops working at any point after delivery, customers may return the system to PiggyPower for evaluation.
In most cases, PiggyPower can rebuild or repair returned systems for a fee that is a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new unit. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from PiggyPower. Rebuild pricing is determined after inspection of the returned system.
Rebuild and repair services are intended as long-term support and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of future performance, output, or lifespan. Damage caused by misuse, overheating, improper installation, modification, contamination, or operation outside recommended limits may affect rebuild eligibility or cost.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom-built nature of PiggyPower products, all sales are final. PiggyPower does not offer returns or refunds once a product has been delivered, except in cases of verified shipping damage as described above.
Limited Warranty and Testing
PiggyPower products are tested prior to shipment to confirm basic functionality at the time of delivery. No guarantees are made regarding long-term performance, output level, or service life, as these depend on operating conditions, installation quality, cooling effectiveness, and usage patterns.
Damage resulting from overheating, improper cooling, misuse, modification, contamination, or operation outside provided guidelines is not covered.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PiggyPower shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products, including but not limited to property damage, equipment damage, or personal injury. PiggyPower’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Intellectual Property
All website content, product designs, text, images, and branding are the property of PiggyPower and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PiggyPower operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
PiggyPower may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
