These Terms of Service govern your use of the PiggyPower website and the purchase and use of PiggyPower products. By accessing this website or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.
Product Use and Intended Purpose
PiggyPower products are sold as educational and experimental thermoelectric generator kits. They are not certified consumer power systems, are not grid-tied devices, and are not intended for life-support, safety-critical, or mission-critical applications.
Users are solely responsible for proper handling, installation, operation, monitoring, and safety precautions, including temperature limits, electrical connections, and heat source suitability.
Assumption of Risk
Thermoelectric devices involve high temperatures, electrical output, and heat transfer. By purchasing or using PiggyPower products, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with their use, including but not limited to burns, electrical hazards, equipment damage, or property damage.
PiggyPower is not responsible for misuse, improper installation, failure to follow provided instructions, or operation outside recommended limits.
Orders, Production, and Shipping
All PiggyPower products are built to order. Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to sourcing, fabrication, testing, or workload.
Once an order has entered production, it cannot be canceled.
No Returns or Refunds
Due to the custom-built and delicate nature of thermoelectric modules, all sales are final. PiggyPower does not accept returns or offer refunds.
If a product arrives damaged in transit, customers must contact PiggyPower within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence of the damage and original packaging.
Limited Warranty
PiggyPower products are tested prior to shipment. However, no performance guarantees are made beyond initial functionality upon delivery.
Damage caused by overheating, improper cooling, misuse, modification, contamination, or operation outside stated limits is not covered. Thermoelectric modules are especially sensitive to improper handling and temperature exposure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PiggyPower shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products, including loss of data, equipment damage, or personal injury.
PiggyPower’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
Intellectual Property
All website content, product designs, text, images, and branding are the property of PiggyPower and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PiggyPower operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
PiggyPower may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
