Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the PiggyPower website and the purchase and use of PiggyPower products. By accessing this website or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms.
Product Use and Intended Purpose
PiggyPower products are specialized thermoelectric power systems intended for educational, experimental, emergency, and off-grid energy applications. They are not certified consumer appliances, are not grid-tied devices, and are not intended for life-support, medical, safety-critical, or mission-critical uses. Proper installation, operation, monitoring, cooling, and adherence to provided instructions are required for safe and reliable use.
User Responsibility and Safe Operation
PiggyPower systems involve heat, electricity, water cooling, and mechanical components. Users are responsible for ensuring appropriate heat sources, cooling, electrical connections, mounting, ventilation, and operating conditions, including adherence to recommended temperature limits and safety guidelines. Operation outside recommended limits may reduce performance, shorten service life, or cause damage.
Users are responsible for monitoring the product during operation and ensuring that the product is not overheated, operated without proper cooling, frozen, modified, contaminated, impacted, or used outside provided instructions.
Orders, Production, and Shipping
All PiggyPower products are built to order. Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided at checkout for reference but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to sourcing, fabrication, testing, workload, weather, carrier delays, or other circumstances outside PiggyPower’s control. Once an order has entered production, it cannot be canceled.
If a product arrives damaged during shipping, customers must notify PiggyPower within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of the damage and original packaging so the issue can be evaluated. Failure to notify PiggyPower within 48 hours may limit available remedies for shipping damage.
Returns and Refunds
Due to the custom-built nature of PiggyPower products, all sales are final. PiggyPower does not offer returns or refunds once a product has been delivered, except in cases of verified shipping damage or a covered issue under the Limited Workmanship Warranty.
Refunds, replacements, repairs, or credits, when applicable, are determined by PiggyPower at its discretion and in accordance with the Limited Workmanship Warranty and Warranty and Service Policy.
Limited Workmanship Warranty
PiggyPower warranty coverage varies by product and is only provided where stated in the applicable product listing, written warranty terms, or included product documentation.
Unless a product listing states otherwise, eligible assembled PiggyPower thermoelectric kits and finished thermoelectric units include a 90-day Limited Workmanship Warranty from delivery.
This Limited Workmanship Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser.
PiggyPower covers defects in original workmanship only. Covered workmanship defects may include issues with factory assembly, wiring, fasteners, connections, sealing, or other assembly-related defects that existed when the product left PiggyPower.
This warranty does not cover thermoelectric module failure, overheating, improper cooling, dry operation, freezing, improper installation, modification, contamination, impact damage, corrosion, misuse, normal wear, reduced output over time, damage to connected devices, or operation outside provided instructions.
Each PiggyPower unit is tested before shipment to confirm basic functionality at the time it leaves PiggyPower. PiggyPower may record testing footage, inspection results, photographs, or product condition before shipment.
To request warranty service, customers must contact PiggyPower through the website contact form before returning any product. The customer must provide order information, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video showing the product condition and issue. PiggyPower may request that the product be returned for inspection before warranty coverage is approved.
If inspection shows that the issue was caused by a covered workmanship defect, PiggyPower will provide one of the following remedies at its option: repair of the product, replacement of the affected part, replacement of the product, store credit, or refund of the affected product.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Customer is responsible for safely packaging the product for return shipment. Unless otherwise stated in writing, customer is responsible for shipping costs to PiggyPower. If the issue is approved as a covered workmanship defect, PiggyPower will cover standard return shipping back to the customer within the continental United States.
Bare thermoelectric component modules are sold as experimental components and are not covered by the PiggyPower Limited Workmanship Warranty or Lifetime Service Rebuild Program.
Some products, including the PiggyPower BioReactor, may include different warranty coverage as stated on the applicable listing or product documentation.
To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties are limited to the same duration as the applicable written limited warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
PiggyPower is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the product, including damage to connected devices, property damage, lost income, lost profits, or loss of use.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Lifetime Service Rebuild Program
PiggyPower products are designed to be serviceable. Original purchasers may contact PiggyPower at any time to request paid inspection, repair, rebuild, or replacement service for eligible PiggyPower products.
The Lifetime Service Rebuild Program is not a lifetime warranty, prepaid service contract, or guarantee of free repair, free replacement, future output, future performance, or product lifespan. It gives eligible customers the option to request a paid service evaluation and quote.
If the product is repairable, PiggyPower may offer a paid repair, rebuild, or replacement quote. Pricing is determined after review or inspection of the product.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from PiggyPower unless otherwise stated in writing.
Damage caused by overheating, improper cooling, dry operation, freezing, improper installation, modification, contamination, impact, corrosion, misuse, normal wear, or operation outside provided instructions may affect service eligibility or cost.
PiggyPower BioReactor Limited Warranty
The PiggyPower BioReactor includes a 1-year Limited Warranty covering defects in the supplied system components under normal intended use.
This BioReactor warranty is separate from the PiggyPower thermoelectric product warranty and applies only to the PiggyPower BioReactor system.
This warranty does not cover misuse, freeze damage, puncture, abrasion, overpressure, improper installation, improper feedstock, neglect, modification, improper storage, normal wear, or damage caused by operating the system outside recommended conditions.
Warranty coverage applies only after PiggyPower reviews the issue and determines that the problem was caused by a covered defect in the supplied system components.
To request BioReactor warranty service, customers must contact PiggyPower through the website contact form and provide order information, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video showing the product condition and issue.
If PiggyPower determines that a covered defect caused the issue, PiggyPower may provide repair parts, replacement parts, repair service, replacement, store credit, or refund of the affected product at its discretion.

Product Performance
PiggyPower products are tested prior to shipment to confirm basic functionality. Product output, performance, and lifespan depend on heat source, cooling effectiveness, installation quality, operating temperatures, electrical load, usage conditions, and user handling.
No specific long-term output level, runtime, or service life is guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing by PiggyPower.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PiggyPower shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products, including but not limited to property damage, equipment damage, lost income, lost profits, personal injury, or damage to connected devices.
PiggyPower’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the product.
Intellectual Property
All website content, product designs, text, images, videos, logos, branding, product names, and related materials are the property of PiggyPower and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
PiggyPower may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
